Created by Greg and Jordan, this 15 episode series tells the unique historical stories of coins. Today, most people regard coins as practically worthless and they throw their change in a drawer or a cup, or just give it away. However before 1933, coins were the primary form of money and most business was conducted with coins. Therefore the record book of history is incomplete without coins. For instance, newly completed research was recently announced of the spectacular discovery of a hitherto unknown Roman Emperor. Sponsian ruled Rome at around 260 AD. Coins were authenticated with his image.
No individual or company has ever stepped up to address this critical missing link of history and brought it to life. Greg stepped in to make numismatic history and has now created the pilot episode. You can watch it here.
In 1990, Greg set the world record for the first sale in history for any rare coin to bring over $1 million. Not only did the sale break the $1 million barrier, it shattered the record by selling for $3.3 million. Even more amazing is that this sale took place during a recession, proving once again that rare coins
are the ultimate hedge.
It was more than a decade before this record was broken again.
Since this time, Greg has gone on to set many more world
records for both US and World coins.
